Effective immediately, inquiries from associates, visitors or members of the public that refer to "last year," "the events of last year," or the year by its number shall be handled as follows.

1. The associate receiving the inquiry shall state that the Organization conducts business in writing, and shall issue Form GA-9 (Request for Records). No other form is suitable.

2. The associate shall not offer a date, a floor, or a recollection. Associates employed during the year in question are reminded that a recollection is not a record and will not be filed as one.

3. Wall calendars for the year have been collected from floors two through five. The calendar for the sixth floor was not on the floor at the time of collection. Facilities is asked to stop asking.

4. The Fourth Quarter First Yield Return (NF-102) for the year was filed on time and in good order. It shall be cited as such, and only as such.

5. The ████████ remains in Conference Room 6B. The second key is held by the Secretary. Requests for the first key should be directed to ████████████.

6. Big Dog AM transcripts for the period are held in the sub-basement under NF-BD-1996-002 through ████. Transcripts for the week of ██████████ were not received from the station and should not be requested.

7. Associates who wish to mark the anniversary of the year may do so by completing their regular duties.

This memorandum supersedes the verbal guidance given at the Monday meeting. It should not be discussed at the Monday meeting.
