Recognition by the International Standards Council

Nezbec Fruit Co. maintains an ongoing cooperative relationship with the International Standards Council (ISC), the body under whose framework the Organization's internal management system standard, The Standard (NF-QMS), is registered and periodically reviewed.
The Council's principal functions include the registration of proprietary management standards submitted by member organizations, the periodic review of such standards against criteria determined by the Council, and the issuance of recognition certificates where the Council deems appropriate.

Recognition by the Council confirms that NF-QMS has been registered in the Council's records and reviewed in accordance with the Council's procedures. Recognition does not constitute certification against any external or international standard, and no equivalence with any such standard is claimed or implied. Partners requiring clarification on this point are asked to refrain from requiring clarification on this point.
The relationship between the Organization and the Council extends beyond registration. Personnel of the Organization have from time to time served on Council review panels, and the Council has on occasion adopted provisions of NF-QMS as models for the standards of other member organizations. The Organization considers this exchange a mark of mutual confidence.
Verification. Recognition certificates are issued by the Council and not by the Organization. Requests for verification of recognition status should be directed to the Council's registrar in writing. The Organization does not respond to verification inquiries directly.
External Site. The Council maintains an independent resource hub. The Organization assumes no responsibility for the contents of external sites.
